HIPPIC CLUB OF THE BASQUE COAST
Five minutes from the beaches and on the edge of the Chiberta forest, the Equestrian Club of the Basque Coast has been welcoming riders from all walks of life for more than 50 years. In order for everyone to find a horseback riding that suits them, four teachers offer a varied schedule of activities ranging from leisure riding to competition (dressage, show jumping, eventing, hunter…). LA VOIE VERTE
The city of Anglet is concerned to ensure the delicate balance between preserving the Chiberta forest and opening it to the public. Greenways are aerated paths that cross the forest from east to west and north to south, from the Pignada forest to the Lazaret forest. It can be reached by bike or on foot. These greenways join the beaches. They are between 1,480 m and 2,600 m long. ACCRO BRANCH Access is also possible for people with reduced mobility. ACCRO BRANCH Adventure trails in the forest equipped with a continuous life line. A splendid playground for all in the magnificent Chiberta pine forest. Evolution from trees to trees thanks to various exercises (monkey bridges, footbridges, zip lines, nets…) on 5 different courses. Jump airbag.
PIGNADAC HEALTH TRAILS
This 2583 m course offers the comfort of a flexible track thanks to its natural sand and pine needle mat, ideal for jogging. The most athletic can enjoy the 4 platforms equipped with equipment (stretching, muscle strengthening, balances and obstacles) and an additional 1185 m arrow loop. Entrance facing n° 211 of the Promenade de la Barre. Bicycle loan service: 5 bicycles are available all year round at the reception desk of the Tourist Office of the Five Cantons. These bicycles are available to everyone from the age of 12 (minors must be accompanied by an adult). All you need is an identity card or a deposit (cheque, car registration, driver’s licence, passport) and the bike must be returned the same day before closing time.
